As the development of knowledge over the world, technology has changed and improved well during many decades. Nowadays, technology is getting more modern than before and used as the important things in many areas, such as military, business field, and also in societal transformation. Of course, this technological change will affect the society change, too. One example we can see in our daily life is about the use of mobile phone. At first, people use mobile phone to communicate with others in different areas. Lately, as the increased of the innovation of technology, people, especially youngsters, use the mobile phone not only to communicate as well with their friends or family, but also to follow the trend in the world. The use of mobile phone has changed. People use it to get more value in society right now. They want to get more prestige from society. If their mobile phones are modern- using mp3, with camera, polyphonic, 3G- they will feel more confident when using the mobile phones. So, they can show to others that they are not out of date in terms of using the mobile phone.

In society, technology connects between science and economy. Science is the discovery and explanation of nature. Vise versa, economy is the social process of the human use of nature. Technology can manipulate the biological processes, such as agriculture, recombinant DNA, surgical procedures, which are all parts of science. With the modern of technology, science can improve and develop until now. Scientists can discover new scientific issues and declare the useful results from their research that can be used by human being around the world. Those development in science, of course, will significantly influence the development of economy in society. People will open new business related to it. New business selling the agriculture tools will be opened since farmers need some modern tools to help them grow the plants in their farms. Doctors will also need tools related to surgery of helping them working at hospitals.

Therefore, we can say that technology is very important for human beings to help them work easily and fast. When the technology is changing, it can alter the societal structure, like government, economy, culture, and territory.
